Just wanted to share a resource that I am late to the game with. Agnes Clarke has a wonderful guide for Observing Double Stars at this LINK. You can download the book for free on the PDF versions. I have it, print off the page or pages I am going to use, put them in a sheet protector and they work great! I you have a chance check it out if you're interested!
