What is 3I/Atlas?

After seeing fake images like this come up and then fake AI of world reknown physists Michio Kaku and Brian Cox declaring that 3I/Atlas sent out a signal saying that for our specieis "Our time is done." That we have been evaluated and found lacking . . .

Enough. I made a video with a post with links that shows that 3I/Atlas is just another interstellar comet that is making it's way through our solar system. Yes, it has some strange things but they are explainable and they enhance our scientific curiousity about 3I/Atlas but they are NOT aliens. Head over at this LINK and check out my thoughts on 3I/Atlas and let's put this to rest finally!

Eadsy Astronomy Newsletter for the Week of December 7th to December 13th, 2025

NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope reobserved interstellar comet 3I/ATLAS Nov. 30, with its Wide Field Camera 3 instrument.

I've posted the weekly newsletter LINK  over at Eadsy Astronomy for the week of 12/7/ to 12/13/25.  It has a link to the newsletter if you want to read it or make a copy, a video where I highlight it and the text of the newsletter on the site. I've included with Jupiter a link to find the Great Red Spot transition times based on GMT. So you'll need to adjust your local time to GMT time (in my case MST is -7 hours behind GMT right now).  Findercharts for Neptune and Uranus are there. The newsletter is long, over 14 pages and it is done that way so I can keep the font readable and because I try to include as much data over various areas of interest for visual observers and imagers.

The image above is of Comet 3I/Atlas taken by the Hubble Space Telescope on November 30th, 2025 and released by NASA.  I discuss 3I/Atlas in the newsletter and provide some links from NASA on the image above and a FAQ NASA has put out on the comet, and yes, it is an Instellar comet not an alien spaceship or probe.
